| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Roger K. Hendrickson of East Moline, | 4 | | who passed away on April 28, 2023; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Roger Hendrickson was born to Martin Dale and | 6 | | Ethel Fern Mason Hendrickson in Macomb on October 30, 1936; he | 7 | | graduated from Moline High School and served in the U.S. Navy; | 8 | | he married Dorothy A. Versluis at St. Mary's Catholic Church | 9 | | in East Moline on August 24, 1957; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Roger Hendrickson was employed with John Deere | 11 | | Harvester in East Moline for 33 years; he retired in 1992; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Roger Hendrickson enjoyed bowling, golfing, | 13 | | fishing, and taking family trips to their cabin in Minnesota; | 14 | | and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Roger Hendrickson was preceded in death by his | 16 | | son-in-law, Dennis Lang; his parents; his sister, Joyce | 17 | | Hoffman; and an infant brother; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Roger Hendrickson is survived by his wife, | 19 | | Dorothy; his daughters, Susan Lang and Tamara (John) | 20 | | DeBisschop; his son, Mark (Jessica) Hendrickson; his |
