| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Marge Olszewki of McHenry, who passed | 4 | | away on April 24, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was born on February 7, 1922, in | 6 | | Chicago to Andrew and Margaret Dougal; she married Raymond | 7 | | Olszewki in Chicago on July 1, 1944; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki, affectionately known as "Mrs. | 9 | | Ray" or "Mar", brought the joy of dance to the city of McHenry | 10 | | for more than 54 years with the Mar Ray Dance Studio; she and | 11 | | her husband also gave the city of Palatine many years of | 12 | | laughter and excitement with Mar Ray Costumes; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing, | 14 | | traveling, and spending the winters in Florida; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her husband; her sons, Ramon and Robert Olszewki; and | 17 | | many loved ones; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki is survived by her children, Carol | 19 | | (Bill) Dick and Ron (Sue) Christian; her daughter-in-law, Jill | 20 | | (Dave) Stone; her grandchildren, Ryan (Marnie) Olszewki, Shawn |
