| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Edith M. Bradford of Glen Carbon, who | 4 | | passed away on June 17, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was born on October 18, 1922, in Emminence, | 6 | | Missouri; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, She retired from the Army Mobility Command in St. | 8 | | Louis, Missouri, after years of dedicated service as a manager; | 9 | | she was a faithful member of City Temple Assembly of God Church | 10 | | in Granite City and the Assembly of God Church in Maryville; | 11 | | and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus | 13 | | C. Bradford; her parents, Otis F. and Beulah G., nee Carr, | 14 | | Rose; and her brothers, Raymond and Dale Rose; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Edith Bradford is survived by her son, Glenn | 16 | | (Mela) Bradford; her grandchildren, Mark (Kerri) Bradford and | 17 | | Shannon Bradford; her brother, Edwin Rose; her sister, Ruby | 18 | | Nunley; and other extended family and friends; therefore, be it
