| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Margaret Mary Curry of Mount Vernon, | 4 | | Ohio, who passed away on May 27, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Curry was born on September 30, 1921 in | 6 | | Mount Vernon, Ohio; her parents were the late George and Mary | 7 | | (Blubaugh) Omlor; she married L. D. Curry on August 17, 1946; | 8 | | and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Curry was a 1939 graduate of St. Vincent | 10 | | de Paul High School and a 1942 graduate of the Mount Carmel | 11 | | School of Nursing; she was employed as a nurse at Mercy | 12 | | Hospital, the Ohio Eastern Star Home before retiring as a nurse | 13 | | from Kenyon College Health Services; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Curry was the 1939 Knox County Women's | 15 | | tennis champion; she was a member of St. Vincent de Paul | 16 | | Catholic Church and the Station Break of Mount Vernon; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Curry was preceded in death by her | 18 | | parents; her husband, L. D. Curry; her son, Kevin Curry; her | 19 | | granddaughter, Jena Blake; her great-grandson, Braylon Anthony | 20 | | Blake; her brothers, George "Snub" Omlor and Ralph Omlor; and | 21 | | her sisters, Anna White and Eileen Gillespie; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Curry is survived by her children, Nancy | 2 | | (Bill) Rupp, George (Sherry) Curry, Susan (Michael) Duffy, Mary | 3 | | (Rick) Marti, Cindy (Ralph) Fogle, Michael (Marie) Curry, and | 4 | | Douglas (Dee) Curry; her 24 grandchildren; and her eight | 5 | | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 | | her family and friends, the passing of Margaret Mary Curry; and | 9 | | be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Margaret Curry as an expression of | 12 | | our sympathy.
