| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Michael Brett Carmouche, who passed away | 4 | | on November 20, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche was born in Chicago to Linson | 6 | | Joseph Carmouche and Ernestine Kelly on May 20, 1963; he | 7 | | received his education in the Chicago Public School system at | 8 | | Robert F. Abbott Elementary and Chicago Vocational High School, | 9 | | where he graduated in 1982; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche worked in retail and customer | 11 | | service management for many years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche committed to his faith at an | 13 | | early age and became a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist | 14 | | Church in Miami Gardens, Florida in 2008; he was a sports | 15 | | enthusiast and enjoyed reading, bowling, fishing, and a good | 16 | | game of spades, dominoes, or backgammon; most of all, he | 17 | | enjoyed spending time with family and friends; cooking for his | 18 | | family gave him indescribable joy; he was a devoted father, a | 19 | | loving brother, uncle, cousin, and a fiercely loyal friend; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche was preceded in death by his | 21 | | parents; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Michael Carmouche is survived by his son, Brett; | 2 | | his siblings, Ricardo (Joyce), Keith (Stephanie), Carla, | 3 | | Brandon, Susan (Darryl), and Nicole (Ronald); his nieces and | 4 | | nephews, Laquita, Carlita, Jonnette, Jasmine, Krishna, | 5 | | Kindall, Natavia, Stephen, Keyahna, Brandon, Ellis, Noelle, | 6 | | Noah, and Nikolas; and his many other relatives and friends; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Michael Brett Carmouche and extend our sincere condolences to | 11 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 12 | | further
