| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ignatius S. "Iggy" Hodnik of Waukegan, | 4 | | who passed away on February 14, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik was born to Ignatius and Frances | 6 | | Hodnik on February 1, 1927; he served in the U.S. Army during | 7 | | World War II; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik held many factory jobs and retired in | 9 | | the mid-90s from the City of Waukegan Public Works Department; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik attended mass faithfully at Mother of | 12 | | God Parish, later joining St. Anastasia; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Iggy Hodnik is survived by his wife, Judith; his | 14 | | children, Fred (Deb) Hodnik, Sue Hodnik, and Nancy (Gary) | 15 | | Orvis; his stepdaughter, Kristen (Ricky) Galla; his | 16 | | grandchildren, Marco, Keri, Alicia, John, and Henry; his | 17 | | sisters, Victoria Zelenik and Marge Berzin; and many nieces and | 18 | | nephews; therefore, be it
