| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lois "Kaye" Boyer, who passed away on | 4 | | February 27, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kaye Boyer was born to Stanley and Effie Cannon on | 6 | | June 19, 1943; the youngest of 11 children, she was raised in | 7 | | State Line, Indiana; she graduated from Seeger High School; on | 8 | | July 4, 1976, she married William D. Boyer Jr. and moved to | 9 | | Indianola; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Kaye Boyer retired from the Vermilion County | 11 | | Clerk's Office in 2011 after 20 years of service; prior to | 12 | | that, she worked at Kmart, General Electric, Aerosol Techniques | 13 | | Inc., and Chuckles; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Kaye Boyer served the people of Carroll Township | 15 | | as township supervisor and township trustee for nearly 30 | 16 | | years; she also served as treasurer of the Carroll Township | 17 | | Fire Protection District for the last five years; she was a | 18 | | wonderful wife and mother; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Kaye Boyer was preceded in death by her parents; | 20 | | six sisters; two brothers; and an infant son; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Kaye Boyer is survived by her husband, William; | 2 | | her sisters, Violet Faulkenberg and Marjorie Arney; her son, | 3 | | Tim Boyer; her grandsons, Shawn, Seth, and Joshua Boyer; her | 4 | | three great-grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Lois "Kaye" Boyer and extend our sincere condolences to her | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 10 | | further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Kaye Boyer as an expression of our | 13 | | deepest sympathy.
