| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ronald J. Freund of Wonder Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on November 29, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was born on August 21, 1953 in | 6 | | Woodstock; his parents were Leonard and Leoda (nee McCarthy) | 7 | | Freund; he married Connie Miller on July 14, 1973 in Wonder | 8 | | Lake; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund graduated from McHenry High School | 10 | | in 1971; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund served his country as a member of | 12 | | the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was employed as a United States Post | 14 | | Office Clerk until his retirement after 25 years of service; he | 15 | | also worked as a part-time associate at Walmart in Johnsburg; | 16 | | and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund was preceded in death by his father, | 18 | | Leonard Freund, and his father-in-law, William Franklin | 19 | | Miller, Jr.; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Freund is survived by his wife of 41 years, | 2 | | Connie; a daughter, Jennifer "Jen" (John) Finch; 2 | 3 | | granddaughters, Julia and Jaycie Finch; his mother, Leoda | 4 | | Freund; his mother-in-law, Dolores Miller; 6 brothers and | 5 | | sisters, John (Kandy) Freund, Darlette Parsons, Marlette | 6 | | (Steve) Lane, Donald (Karen) Freund, Charlette (Roger) | 7 | | Hoffman, and Jeremie (Dorothy) Freund; 2 sisters-in-law, Caren | 8 | | Rische and Christine Lippert; and many nieces, nephews, and | 9 | | godchildren; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 12 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Ronald J. Freund; and | 13 | | be it further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Ronald Freund as an expression of | 16 | | our sympathy.
