| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Louie K. Fisher of Port Charlotte, | 4 | | Florida, formerly of Milan, who passed away on December 26, | 5 | | 2020; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Louie Fisher was born to Kenneth and Myrtle | 7 | | Fisher in Rock Island on December 23, 1943; he served in the | 8 | | U.S. Army; he married Peggy Vincent in 1967; after her death in | 9 | | 1986, he later married Linda Warner; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Louie Fisher retired from JI Case after 30 years | 11 | | as a machinist; he was also the owner of Lou's Lawn Care of | 12 | | Milan; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Louie Fisher was a past commander of Milan | 14 | | American Legion Post 569; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Louie Fisher loved working around the house and | 16 | | being outside working in his flower garden and with his fruit | 17 | | tree; he was an avid fisherman and hunter who took many trips | 18 | | to Canada and southwest Iowa; most of all, he enjoyed spending | 19 | | time with his family and beloved golden retriever Chloe; and

| 3 | | WHEREAS, At the time of his death, Louie Fisher was | 4 | | survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Tammy (Jerry) | 5 | | Hudspeth and Jeff (Christiane) Fisher; his grandchildren, | 6 | | Jerry (Lauren) Hudspeth III, Jonathan Hudspeth, Natalie | 7 | | Fisher, Darin Fisher, and Brian Fisher; his brother, Michael | 8 | | (Lisa) Fisher; and his great-grandchildren, Violet Hudspeth | 9 | | and Donatello and Raphael Fisher; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Louie K. Fisher and extend our sincere condolences to his | 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 14 | | further
