| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Darrin Scott Frederick of Crystal Lake, | 4 | | who passed away on March 15, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick was born in Beaver Falls, | 6 | | Pennsylvania on February 24, 1969 to Cornelius "Neil" and | 7 | | Christine "Chris" (nee Hurbanek) Frederick; he married Robin | 8 | | Lynn Brokhof on October 7, 1995 in St. Charles; he graduated | 9 | | from Northern Illinois University, where he earned his degree | 10 | | in biology with a minor in chemistry; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick worked as the Director of Food | 12 | | Safety at Centrella (Central Grocers, Inc.) in Joliet; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick was a member of the McHenry Road | 14 | | Pirates; he enjoyed his son's baseball games, batting cages, | 15 | | ice fishing, camping, Boy Scouts, and shooting arrows and bb | 16 | | guns; he also enjoyed going to his daughter's soccer games, | 17 | | coaching and watching her basketball team, and fishing with | 18 | | her; he loved riding his Harley Davidson Road King, especially | 19 | | with his wife, Robin; he enjoyed the gun range, the Pittsburgh | 20 | | Steelers, monster truck rallies, home and camping shows, | 21 | | working in the outdoors, being at home with his family, and | 22 | | dining out as a family; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Darrin Frederick is survived by his wife, Robin; | 2 | | his children, Kiley Lynn and Blake Scott Frederick; his | 3 | | parents, Neil and Chris Frederick; his brother, Douglas | 4 | | (Pamela) Frederick; his mother-in-law, Esther Brokhof; his | 5 | | father-in-law, Robert Brokhof; his sisters-in-law, Lisa | 6 | | Brokhof, Denise (Curt) Sim, and Karla Christianson; his | 7 | | brothers-in-law, Chet (Simone) Brokhof and William Brokhof; | 8 | | and his nieces and nephew, Nadine, Garrett, Jillian, and | 9 | | Vitoria Brokhof; therefore, be it
