| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of George C. Stahl of Mundelein, who passed | 4 | | away on April 2, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, George Stahl was born in Chicago on January 7, | 6 | | 1921 and had been a Mundelein resident since 1955; he served in | 7 | | the United States Army Air Corps during World War II in the | 8 | | European Theater; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, George Stahl worked for 55 years at Commonwealth | 10 | | Edison in customer service; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, George Stahl was a member of the Libertyville | 12 | | Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post 329, St. Joseph | 13 | | Church, and the Libertyville Senior Center; he enjoyed fishing, | 14 | | computers, traveling, playing cards, and casinos and will be | 15 | | remembered for his sense of humor, making everyone he came | 16 | | across laugh; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, George Stahl was preceded in death by his wife, | 18 | | Dorothy, and by his 2 brothers, Bill and Bob Stahl; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, George Stahl is survived by his 3 children, Sherri | 20 | | and Gregory Stahl and Deborah Roper; his 2 grandchildren, |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | George C. Stahl, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 6 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 7 | | further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of George Stahl as an expression of our | 10 | | deepest sympathy.
