| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Terrance Paul "Terry" Brendle of McHenry, | 4 | | who passed away on March 28, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was born in Woodstock on May 8, 1953 | 6 | | to Paul Carl and Ethel L. (nee Hachmeister) Brendle; he | 7 | | graduated from McHenry High School in 1971 and studied law | 8 | | enforcement at McHenry County College; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was employed as a corrections | 10 | | officer for 26 years by the McHenry County Sheriff's Office; he | 11 | | also worked part-time at the McHenry Ace Hardware store; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was a collector of antiques and an | 13 | | avid Model A Ford enthusiast; he was a member of the | 14 | | Chain-O-Lakes Chapter of the Model A Club of America, where he | 15 | | also served as the chapter's president; he also enjoyed | 16 | | gardening, entertaining, cooking, and hosting dinner parties; | 17 | | he taught himself to play the organ and loved playing for | 18 | | family and friends; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle was preceded in death by his | 20 | | parents, and his niece, Sheila Lamberg; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Terry Brendle is survived by his 2 sisters, Debra | 2 | | Manson and Karen (Roy) Lamberg; his brother, Steven Brendle; | 3 | | his niece, Michelle Ann; and his 2 nephews, Jason and Chad; | 4 | | therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Terrance Paul "Terry" Brendle, and extend our sincere | 8 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 9 | | him; and be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Terry Brendle as an expression of | 12 | | our deepest sympathy.
