| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
Mary Sue Corn of Benton, who passed away | 4 |
| on November 9, 2009; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Sue Corn was born on September 20, 1933, in | 6 |
| Orient; she was the daughter of Pete Baudison and Mabel | 7 |
| (Willis) Baudison; she married Robert Corn on November 3, 1984; | 8 |
| and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Sue Corn was a devoted housewife; she was | 10 |
| also a member of the Grace Awakening Baptist Church in Benton, | 11 |
| the Benton V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and the Benton Eagles | 12 |
| Ladies Auxiliary; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Sue Corn was an avid fan of the St. Louis | 14 |
| Cardinals and the Benton Rangers football team; she also loved | 15 |
| playing bingo and looking at photographs of her family; and
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Sue Corn was preceded in death by her | 17 |
| parents; her sister, Norma Walker; her brothers, Bill and | 18 |
| Donald Baudison; and her daughter-in-law, Lori Corn; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Sue Corn is survived by her husband, Robert | 20 |
| "Junior" Corn; her children, Randy (Linda) Manning, Ronnie |

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 9 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Mary Sue Corn; and be it | 11 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 |
| presented to the family of Mary Sue Corn as an expression of | 14 |
| our sympathy.
