| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Joaquina M. "Kena" Alamillo of Lockport, | 4 | | who passed away on May 2, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joaquina Alamillo was born to Kenneth Marquez and | 6 | | Henrietta Sanchez on April 17, 1951; she was a resident of | 7 | | Joliet for many years before moving to Lockport; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joaquina Alamillo retired from Silver Cross | 9 | | Hospital after 31 years of dedicated service; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Joaquina Alamillo was a devoted mother, | 11 | | grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Joaquina Alamillo was preceded in death by her | 13 | | parents; her daughter, Monica Teresa Alamillo; her | 14 | | brother-in-law, Juan Suarez; and her sister-in-law, Karen | 15 | | Marquez; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Joaquina Alamillo is survived by her children, | 17 | | Anita (Angel) Garcia, Raquel (Alan) Cottle, and Ricky | 18 | | (Jennifer) Alamillo; her grandchildren, Alex, Tony, Ava, Ricky | 19 | | Jr., Olivia, and Eva; her siblings, Tony (Arlene) Marquez, | 20 | | Sandra Suarez, Mike (Connie) Marquez, Debbie (Craig) Johnston, |
