| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Frances "Kay" Sanders of Georgetown, who | 4 | | passed away on May 18, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders was born on September 27, 1940; | 6 | | her parents were Richard and Florence (nee Crippin) Wilson; she | 7 | | married Joe Sanders on April 22, 1962; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders was the former owner of Joe's | 9 | | Sandwich Shop Restaurant; she was employed at the Secretary of | 10 | | State's Driver's License Services for many years prior to her | 11 | | retirement; she was also very involved with the City of | 12 | | Georgetown, serving as Mayor and as a member of the City | 13 | | Council; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders was a member of the American | 15 | | Legion Dornblaser Post 203 Women's Auxiliary of Georgetown; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders enjoyed spending time with her | 17 | | family and her very best friend, Evelyn Seilhymer, and | 18 | | attending the annual "Old Hags Party"; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders was preceded in death by her | 20 | | parents; a brother; her husband, Joe; and her faithful |

| 1 | | companion, Sammy; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Frances Sanders is survived by 2 daughters, | 3 | | La-Zann Quintana and Lori Key, and 4 grandchildren, Thomas | 4 | | Quintana, II, Joseph David Quintana, and Mason and Mary Key; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | 8 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Frances "Kay" Sanders; | 9 | | and be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Frances Sanders as an expression of | 12 | | our sympathy.
