| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lily "Lil" Visconti of Ringwood, who | 4 | | passed away on May 7, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was born in McKeesport, | 6 | | Pennsylvania to William and Edith (Hoffman) Boyd on September | 7 | | 5, 1949; she graduated from McHenry High School in 1967 and | 8 | | married Frank Visconti in McHenry on June 1, 1968; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti worked as a secretary at Modine and | 10 | | Oak Manufacturing; she was a professional cake decorator and | 11 | | operated L & L Pizza in Ringwood for several years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was a former member of Ringwood | 13 | | United Methodist Church, where she served on the church | 14 | | council; she was a member of the Wonder Lake Auxiliary Fire | 15 | | Department, volunteer at Ringwood and Johnsburg schools, | 16 | | volunteer with the Red Cross, and Boy Scout merit badge | 17 | | counselor; she enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping, jewelry, | 18 | | and most importantly, helping others; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was preceded by her father, William | 20 | | Boyd, and her sisters, Carolyn Boyd, Yvonne Bounds, and Edith | 21 | | Hoffman; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti is survived by her husband, Frank; | 2 | | her son, Frank Visconti; her mother, Edith Harrison; and many | 3 | | nieces, nephews, and Godchildren; therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Lily "Lil" Visconti, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 7 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 8 | | further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Lily Visconti as an expression of | 11 | | our deepest sympathy.
