| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Janette Weatherall, who passed away on | 4 | | May 11, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was born in St. Louis, Missouri | 6 | | on April 19, 1954 to Jim and Doris
Weatherall; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, In 1989, Janette Weatherall relocated to
| 8 | | Springfield to pursue an employment opportunity with
AFSCME | 9 | | Local 2000; in 1993, her career as a lobbyist began with the | 10 | | Illinois Education Association, where she served 20 years | 11 | | before
retiring in 2013; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was very passionate about | 13 | | serving in her
church (Cathedral of Praise), health, education, | 14 | | and spending time
with her family; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall was preceded in death by her
| 16 | | parents; her brother; and her sister; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Janette Weatherall is survived by her daughter, | 18 | | Fatina (Juan)
Conway; her 5 sisters, Annie (Eddie) Jumper, Mary | 19 | | Helen Walker,
Minnie McLemore, Christine (Arthur) Francis, and | 20 | | Myra (Mark) Hunter;
her brother, Sylvester (Aletha) |

Herbert (Mary Frances) Weatherall; her 8 | 2 | | grandchildren, Janee

O'Bryant; her god-son, Casey Collier; | 6 | | her best friend, Lonnie Grant; and a
host of nephews, nieces, | 7 | | and friends; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Jeanette Weatherall, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 12 | | further
| 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 14 | | presented to the family of Janette Weatherall as an expression | 15 | | of our deepest sympathy.
