| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of John E. Adamich, who passed away on May | 4 | | 20, 2017 at the age of 85; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich graduated from Joliet Township High | 6 | | School in 1948; he served in the United States Marine Corps | 7 | | from 1949 to 1952, achieving the rank of sergeant; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich was employed at Commonwealth Edison | 9 | | in the overhead department for 38 years, retiring in 1989; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich was an active member of the | 11 | | International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and various | 12 | | labor organizations throughout Will County and the State; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, | 14 | | hunting, golfing, and camping; he loved spending time with his | 15 | | family and friends and coached Little League Baseball for over | 16 | | 20 years; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich was preceded in death by his loving | 18 | | wife, Loretta (Schwab) Adamich; his parents, John and Catherine | 19 | | (Reibel) Adamich; and his stepmother, Cele (Heferle) Adamic; | 20 | | and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, John Adamich is survived by his loving children, | 2 | | Jack (Anna) Adamic, Kathleen (Tony) Costa, and Mary Adamic; his | 3 | | cherished grandchildren, Erin (Scott) Foat, John (Kelly | 4 | | Spitzner) Adamic, and Anthony and Christopher Costa; his | 5 | | dearest great-grandchildren, Dylan and Brooklynn Foat; his | 6 | | brother, Joseph (Joan) Adamic; his stepmother, Joanna Adamic; | 7 | | and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, | 8 | | be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | John E. Adamich, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 12 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 13 | | further | 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of John Adamich as an expression of our | 16 | | deepest sympathy.
