| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lowell A. "Andy" Anderson of Johnsburg, | 4 | | who passed away on May 14, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Anderson was born in Belvidere to Louis and | 6 | | Beatrice (Champlin) Stephy on November 14, 1934; he served in | 7 | | the United States Navy from 1953 to 1957 during the Korean War | 8 | | and learned his trade as a machinist mate; he married Donna | 9 | | Adams at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg on | 10 | | September 7, 1957; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Anderson worked for most of his career as a | 12 | | mold maker for Alpha Star Tool And Mold, Inc. in Crystal Lake; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Anderson was a longtime member and very | 15 | | active in McHenry Moose Lodge #691 and McHenry VFW Post 4600; | 16 | | he was also a member of Polish Legion of American Veterans Post | 17 | | #188; he took great pride in his home that he had built in | 18 | | Johnsburg; he enjoyed maintaining his yard and his cars; he was | 19 | | a huge Bears fan and looked forward to watching the games with | 20 | | his friends; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, |

| 1 | | Donna; his parents; his brother, Rollie Anderson; and his | 2 | | in-laws, Clara and Arthur Adams; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Lowell Anderson is survived by his children, Scott | 4 | | (Julie) Anderson, Dawn Anderson, and Michelle (Rick) Leber; his | 5 | | grandchildren, Lauren (Sean) Schuelke, Megan (Charles) Bills, | 6 | | Brian Anderson, Lauren (Mike) Freye, Kurt Leber, and DeeAnne | 7 | | (Richard Peter) Leber; and four great-grandchildren; | 8 | | therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 11 | | Lowell A. "Andy" Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences | 12 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 13 | | it further
