| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Pinckneyville High | 4 | | School boys varsity basketball team, the Panthers, on winning | 5 | | their 2000th game; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, The Panthers opened their season celebrating | 7 | | their 2000th win after playing the Chester High School boys | 8 | | varsity basketball team, the Yellow Jackets, on November 24, | 9 | | 2021; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Panthers defeated the Yellow Jackets 60-24, | 11 | | creating yet another milestone for Pinckneyville High School | 12 | | that was 105 years in the making; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The 2021-2022 Panthers are Duke Riggins, Nile | 14 | | Adcock, Pearson Launius, Asher Jausel, Hunter Smith, Isaac | 15 | | Queen, Kellen Scott, Lance Brokering, Jase Lee, Vaden | 16 | | Szczepanski, Riley Mohr, Joey Iaccino, Trey Moll, and Karsen | 17 | | Konkel; their names will be enshrined in Pinckneyville High | 18 | | School history for their contribution to the school's march to | 19 | | its 2000th win in varsity boys basketball; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Robert "Bob" Waggoner, current head coach of the | 21 | | Panthers, has broadened the basketball program's rich heritage |

| 1 | | with a record of 337-91 over the past 14 years, resulting in | 2 | | high hopes as he enters his 15th season; therefore, be it
| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 4 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 5 | | we congratulate the Pinckneyville High School boys varsity | 6 | | basketball team, the Panthers, for achieving their 2000th win, | 7 | | and we wish the team continued success; and be it further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to Head Coach Robert "Bob" Waggoner and | 10 | | Pinckneyville High School Principal Tony Wilson as an | 11 | | expression of our esteem and respect.
