| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Michael E. Tekampe, who passed away on | 4 | | July 20, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Michael Tekampe was born in Chicago to Leo J. and | 6 | | Evelyn C. Tekampe on January 14, 1947; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Michael Tekampe made the United States Marine | 8 | | Corps his career and served three tours during the Vietnam War; | 9 | | and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Michael Tekampe loved his friends and family | 11 | | dearly; he lived his life by the motto "Practice Random | 12 | | Kindness And Senseless Acts Of Beauty"; he will be missed by | 13 | | all who knew him; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Michael Tekampe was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents; his daughter, Jennifer Kye Tekampe; his brothers, | 16 | | Ralph and Robert Tekampe; and his sister, Jeanne Franklin; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Michael Tekampe is survived by his daughters, | 18 | | Lindsay (Eric) Dennis and Kristina Shelley; his grandchildren, | 19 | | Luke Michael Dennis, Kyle Robert Dennis, Joseph Byron Shelley | 20 | | II, and Matthew Michael Shelley; his brothers, John L. and |
