| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Naidene Johns, who passed away on March | 4 | | 9, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns was born on October 4, 1927, in | 6 | | Stoddard, Missouri; she was the daughter of Garnett and Virgie | 7 | | May (McFerron) Ramsey; she married Calvin E. Johns on March 5, | 8 | | 1947, in Alton; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns had worked during her life for | 10 | | Owens-Illinois Glass and Merle Norman Cosmetics; she also sold | 11 | | Watkins and Shaklee Products; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns was a member of the Heartland | 13 | | Quilter and belonged to several bowling leagues, including the | 14 | | O-I Ladies Bowling League; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns enjoyed spending time with her | 16 | | family and cooking for family gatherings and holidays; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns was preceded in death by her | 18 | | husband; her parents; her son, Terry Lynn Johns; her | 19 | | grandchildren, Jimmee and Adam Johns; and her siblings, D.J. | 20 | | Ramsey and Thelma Hannon; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Naidene Johns is survived by her sons and | 2 | | daughters-in-law, Barry and Pat Johns, Danny Johns, Randy and | 3 | | Rebecca Johns, Steven Johns, and Scott and Jean Johns; her | 4 | | grandchildren, Jason Johns, Lindsey Johns, Patrick (Stacy) | 5 | | Johns, Stephanie (Jay) Sinclair, Lauren Johns, Sam Johns, and | 6 | | Aryn (J.C.) Bierbaum; and her 5 great-grandchildren; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 | | her family and friends, the passing of Naidene Johns; and be it | 11 | | further
