| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Brian Weilmuenster on the | 4 | | occasion of his retirement from the 20th Judicial Circuit | 5 | | Court Services and Probation Department after 35 years of | 6 | | service; and | 7 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster began serving the 20th | 8 | | Judicial Circuit Court Services and Probation Department on | 9 | | January 15, 1989; he worked for the St. Clair County Probation | 10 | | Department as a probation officer, an intensive DUI officer, | 11 | | and an administrative caseload officer until he was promoted | 12 | | to adult unit supervisor in 1999; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster has served his community of | 14 | | St. Clair County, the 20th Judicial Circuit Court, and the | 15 | | State of Illinois with dedication, distinction, and dignity | 16 | | for over 35 years; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster has received numerous awards | 18 | | throughout his career, including special recognition for the | 19 | | apprehension of a fleeing felon in 1993 and recognition for | 20 | | assistance in development of the St. Clair County ICJ system | 21 | | in 2005; he was also the recipient of the Pauline Gansauer | 22 | | Award by the Illinois Probation and Court Services Association |

| 1 | | (IPCSA) in 2012; and | 2 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster has been a proud member of the | 3 | | Illinois Federation of Public Employees (IFPE) Local 4408, | 4 | | serving alongside his fellow union brothers and sisters since | 5 | | the probation department unionized in 2015; and | 6 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster is an avid fisherman, a food | 7 | | and wine connoisseur, a proud Grateful Dead fan, a history and | 8 | | movie buff, and a member of the Holy Roman Catholic Church; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, Brian Weilmuenster will conclude his career on | 10 | | April 1, 2024; therefore, be it | 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 12 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 13 | | we congratulate Brian Weilmuenster on his retirement from the | 14 | | 20th Judicial Circuit Court Services and Probation Department, | 15 | | and we wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it | 16 | | further | 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 18 | | presented to Brian Weilmuenster as a symbol of our respect and | 19 | | esteem. |
