| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas L. "Tom" Dasso of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on September 12, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tom Dasso was born in Rock Island to Henry L. and | 6 | | Margaret E. Rettig Dasso on October 9, 1937; he graduated from | 7 | | Alleman High School in 1955; he served in the United States Air | 8 | | Force from 1957 until 1961; he married Betty J. Lawrence in | 9 | | 1958; he later married Virginia A. Hawk in 1985; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Tom Dasso worked as a computer systems analyst at | 11 | | Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company for over 38 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Tom Dasso was a member of the Rock Island County | 13 | | Ducks Unlimited Committee for 35 years, the Delta Waterfowl, | 14 | | the NRA, and the Bi-State Sportsman's Club; he was a Life | 15 | | Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited; he loved the Mississippi River; he | 16 | | enjoyed hunting ducks, fishing, and gatherings of family and | 17 | | friends; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Tom Dasso was preceded in death by his parents; | 19 | | his brother, James Dasso; and his sister, Mary Ann Engles; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Tom Dasso is survived by his sons, Todd L. (Sandy) |

| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Thomas L. "Tom" Dasso and extend our sincere condolences to his | 7 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 8 | | further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Tom Dasso as an expression of our | 11 | | deepest sympathy.
