| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Paul Craig of Perry, who passed away on | 4 | | July 11, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Craig was born in Danville on December 13, | 6 | | 1960 to James and Marlene Calhoun Craig; he graduated from | 7 | | Griggsville High School in 1979 and married Mary Ellen Suhling | 8 | | on November 24, 1979 in Mount Sterling; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Paul Craig was a past employee of National Starch | 10 | | for 21 years in Meredosia and was very involved with | 11 | | Boilermakers Union Local 484; he later worked for the | 12 | | Jacksonville Developmental Center until the center closed; he | 13 | | then was employed by the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy; he | 14 | | was a 34-year member of the North Pike Fire Department, where | 15 | | he had been Fire Chief since 1994; he was an instructor with | 16 | | the Illinois Fire Service Institute for many years; he was | 17 | | Mutual Aid Box Alarm System's current President for Division 67 | 18 | | and past President of Twin Pike Mutual Aid Association; he was | 19 | | also the Western Illinois sales rep for the Illinois Fire | 20 | | Store; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Paul Craig was a member of the Perry Masonic Lodge | 22 | | Ancient Free and Accepted Masons for many years and Pittsfield |

| 1 | | OES Chapter 195; he was heavily involved with youth sports in | 2 | | Pike County and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Paul Craig is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; | 4 | | his daughter, Kimber Martin (Michael "Bub"); his 2 sons, Kellen | 5 | | Craig and Kollin Craig (Brittany); his 3 grandchildren, Hattie | 6 | | and Ike Martin and Finley Craig; his 3 sisters, Alicia Dunham | 7 | | (Scott), Anna Emrick (John), and Jennifer Craig Blakley; his 2 | 8 | | brothers, Jay Craig (Janna) and Steve Craig (Leann); and | 9 | | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Paul Craig, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | 13 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Paul Craig as an expression of our | 16 | | deepest sympathy.
