| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois | 3 |
| learned with sadness of the death of Edgar "Ed" Dulli of | 4 |
| Naperville on June 10, 2006; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Dulli was born on January 22, 1948, in | 6 |
| Hamilton, Ohio, to Edgar and Edna Dulli; he grew up in | 7 |
| Fairfield, Ohio, where he graduated from Miami University in | 8 |
| Oxford, Ohio; and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Upon graduation, Mr. Dulli worked as a field | 10 |
| engineer for Factory Insurance Assoc. (FIA) and was transferred | 11 |
| to Chicago in 1975; after 11 years with FIA, he joined AON | 12 |
| Corp. (formerly Rollins, Burdick, Hunter), rising to the | 13 |
| position of Vice President, Property Risk Control Dept.; he | 14 |
| retired in 2003 after 23 years at AON; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Dulli was a member of St. Raphael Church; he | 16 |
| enjoyed traveling world wide, attending concerts and the | 17 |
| theater, dancing and golf; his greatest joy was spending time | 18 |
| with and "spoiling" his granddaughters; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Edgar "Ed" Dulli is deeply felt by | 20 |
| all who knew and loved him, especially his wife of 32 years, | 21 |
| Paula Dulli; his eldest daughter, Lisa; his son-in-law, Mike | 22 |
| Deese; his granddaughters, Samantha, Madison, and Mackenzie; | 23 |
| his younger daughter, Alison, and fiance, Dan Avjean; his | 24 |
| sister, Nancy (Ron); and his many nieces and nephews; he was | 25 |
| preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Edna Dulli, and his | 26 |
| brother, Neil Dulli; therefore, be it
| 27 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | 28 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 29 |
| Edgar "Ed" Dulli, and we extend our sincere condolences to his | 30 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
