| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of M.H. "Monty" Pollner of New Boston, | 4 | | who passed away on February 17, 2024; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was born to Elizabeth M. (Lang) and | 6 | | Carl L. Pollner in Chicago on January 8, 1928; he served in the | 7 | | U.S. Navy during World War II; he married Nelda E. Gooding in | 8 | | Hampton on July 13, 1952; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner worked as a commercial artist in | 10 | | his younger years, and he retired as a printing salesman for | 11 | | Desaulniers and Co.; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner loved woodworking and fishing; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was preceded in death by his | 14 | | parents; his wife, Nelda; his son, Tracy; and his brother, | 15 | | Henry "Hank" Pollner; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner is survived by his son, Randy | 17 | | (Janet) Pollner; his daughter, Heather (Gary) Reardon; his | 18 | | daughter-in-law, Paula Pollner; his grandchildren, Jacob, | 19 | | Jennifer, Spencer, Quinn, and Emily; eight | 20 | | great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and his |
