| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Clarice "Clare" A. Finck of Godfrey, who | 4 |
| passed away on May 20, 2010; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born April 26, 1937 in Wood River, the | 6 |
| daughter of Charles and Louise (Helmkamp) Neunaber; she was | 7 |
| baptized on May 30, 1937; and she graduated from Bethalto Civic | 8 |
| Memorial High School in 1955; and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, She was a real estate broker and a member of the | 10 |
| Illinois Association of Realtors; she was a member of the | 11 |
| Messiah Lutheran Church, where she played in the handbell | 12 |
| choir; she was a member of and served as president of T.O.P.S.; | 13 |
| she was a parliamentarian, notary public, and a toast-mistress; | 14 |
| and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, She married Fred E. Finck in Godfrey on July 16, | 16 |
| 1966; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin | 18 |
| and Cecil Neunaber; and her sister, Alice Taylor; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Clarice Finck is survived by her husband, Fred; | 20 |
| her daughter, Casey L. (Finck) Martin; her son, Jeffery S. |

| Higgins and his wife, Debbie K. Higgins; her granddaughter, | 2 |
| Amanda L. Higgins; her many nieces and nephews; her sister, | 3 |
| Esther Eberhart; and her two sisters-in-law, Clare Neunaber and | 4 |
| Vina Neunaber; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 6 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 7 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Clarice Finck; and be it | 8 |
| further
| 9 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 |
| presented to the family of Clarice Finck as a symbol of our | 11 |
| sincere sympathy.
