HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of John R. Morales, who passed away on July 30, 2024; and

WHEREAS, John Morales, the son of the late Juan and Elaina Morales, was born on October 16, 1956; and

WHEREAS, John Morales was the longtime chief financial officer (CFO) of many hospitals and private industry companies, and he served as a proud certified public accountant (CPA) for many years; and

WHEREAS, John Morales was the husband of Carla (Cosentino) Morales for 44 years; the father of Samantha Morales; the son-in-law of Charlotte and the late Jerry Cosentino; the brother-in-law of Carey Cosentino, Claudia (Ken) Roselli, Carolyn Cosentino, and Colette (George) Gorman; and the uncle of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John R. Morales and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Morales as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
