| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of James Esp of DeWitt, Michigan, who passed | 4 | | away on November 20, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Esp was born in Waukegan; he graduated from | 6 | | St. Anastasia Elementary School, Carmel Catholic High School, | 7 | | and the University of Illinois at Chicago; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, James Esp worked for Osco Drug Stores, | 9 | | Genovese/Eckerd Drug Stores, and the Photo Marketing | 10 | | Association, for which he traveled internationally; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, James Esp loved nature and sports, especially | 12 | | golf; he had a kind heart and a love of people and truly | 13 | | enjoyed getting to know all who crossed his path; he lived his | 14 | | life with purpose and understood the importance of family and | 15 | | friends; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Esp was preceded in death by his parents and | 17 | | his brother, Ronald; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, James Esp Jim is survived by his wife, Diane; his | 19 | | sons, Matthew (Julie) and Todd (Susana); his granddaughter, | 20 | | Alexis; his brothers, Robert (Bobbi), Richard (Wendy), David, |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | James Esp and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | 6 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 8 | | presented to the family of James Esp as an expression of our | 9 | | deepest sympathy.
