| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Kevin Levell Singleton; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Singleton was born in Chicago to Andrew D.
| 5 | | Sr. and Maggie Mozell Singleton on January 18, 1970; he | 6 | | attended Pirie Elementary School, where he served on the | 7 | | student Council
and as a tutor; he graduated from the Beasley | 8 | | Academic Center in 1984 and Morgan Park
High School in 1988; | 9 | | and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, After high school, Kevin Singleton worked various | 11 | | jobs and continued his education; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, As a child, Kevin Singleton was a member of the | 13 | | Apostolic Church of God in Chicago; later, he became a member | 14 | | of Victory
Apostolic Church; he had a tremendous sense of humor | 15 | | and stayed up to date on politics
and world events; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Singleton was preceded in death by his | 17 | | father, Andrew D. Singleton Sr. and his twin brother, Keith; | 18 | | and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Singleton is survived by his mother, Maggie | 20 | | Mozell Singleton; his sister, Linda (Larry)

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Kevin Levell Singleton and extend our sincere condolences to | 8 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
