| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Robert Lee "Lee Dog" Brownfield of | 4 | | Havana, who passed away on January 28, 2024; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was born to Barbara A. "Bobbie" | 6 | | Brownfield in Pekin on January 24, 1960; he served in the U.S. | 7 | | Army as a private first class with the Echo Tab 25th Field | 8 | | Artillery Wolf Pack at Camp Stanley in Korea until 1981; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield worked for Wareco and Tracer | 10 | | Industries; he was also a contractor in construction for Wes | 11 | | Hilst for many years; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield became a life member of Havana | 13 | | VFW Post #6408 in March 2021; and | 14 | | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was preceded in death by his | 15 | | mother; his stepfather, Harold Yaeck; his grandparents, Henry | 16 | | "Hank" Brownfield and Jane Brownfield; and his dog, Rocky Dog; | 17 | | and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield is survived by his brother, | 19 | | Ronald (Angela) Wubben; his sister, Deb Joseph; his | 20 | | stepbrother, David Wubben; his stepsister, Denise (Bernard) |
