| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
| 3 | | learn of the death of Glen D. Dickinson of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on January 7, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Glen Dickinson was born on July 22, 1929 in Moline | 6 | | to Ralph and Edna (Anderson) Dickinson; he honorably served his | 7 | | country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean and | 8 | | Vietnam War; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Glen Dickinson married Andree Bousseronde-Stokes | 10 | | on June 22, 1975 in Rock Island; he enjoyed camping, | 11 | | vacationing in Texas, working with stained glass, watching | 12 | | sports, and playing cards, especially euchre; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Glen Dickinson was preceded in death by his wife, | 14 | | Andree; his parents Ralph and Edna; sisters, Charlotte Kribble, | 15 | | Doris Clevenger, and Loretta Kassel; and brothers Ralph, | 16 | | Eugene, Roger, and Donald Dickinson; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Glen Dickinson is survived by his children, | 18 | | William Stokes, Larry Stokes, Kathy (David) Rice, Kenneth | 19 | | (Linda) Stokes, and Doreen Leahy; eight grandchildren, seven | 20 | | great-grandchildren; siblings, Pauline Gabbert and James | 21 | | Dickinson; and many extended family members and friends; |

| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 3 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
| 4 | | Glen D. Dickinson and extend our sincere
condolences to his | 5 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved
him; and be it | 6 | | further
| 7 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
