| 1 | | SENATE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Michael A. Wolfe of Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on March 29, 2024; and | 5 | | WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was born to Royal and Nancy | 6 | | (Parker) Wolfe in Moline on January 3, 1950; he served in the | 7 | | U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; and | 8 | | WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe retired as a molder and production | 9 | | controller for the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and | 10 | | Tech Center; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe enjoyed gardening, model building, | 12 | | basket weaving, woodworking, tinkering, playing the guitar and | 13 | | drums, and bird watching; and | 14 | | WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents and his cat, Maude; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Michael Wolfe is survived by his sons, Adam | 17 | | (Leah) Wolfe and Aaron (Abigail) Wolfe; his grandchildren, | 18 | | Cameron, Zachery, Kaitlyn, Royal, and Ronnie; his sisters, | 19 | | Sheri (Don) Gross and Sheila (Buzzy) King; his nieces, Tracy | 20 | | (Scott) and Jenn (Mike); his nephews, Tommy (Melissa), Josh |

Wolfe and extend our sincere condolences to his | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further | 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Michael Wolfe as an expression of | 13 | | our deepest sympathy. |
