| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Joe "Patrick" Casillas of Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on August 29, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joe Casillas was born on March 17, 1930 in Moline; | 6 | | his parents were Ignacio and Leonore (nee Martinez) Casillas; | 7 | | he married Elena Oliva on December 30, 1961; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joe Casillas served his country as a member of the | 9 | | United States Army; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Joe Casillas was employed at John Deere Harvester | 11 | | Works for 39 years until his retirement in 1987; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Joe Casillas is survived by his wife, Elena; 5 | 13 | | children, Steve Casillas, Cindi Casillas, Rodney Casillas, | 14 | | Joseph Casillas, and Sharon Casillas; 5 grandchildren, | 15 | | Christine Cook, Johnathan Casillas, Alan Cook, Kory Armstrong, | 16 | | and Kaylie Bouerman; a great-granddaughter, Hailee Casillas; a | 17 | | sister, Tina Medina; and his many nieces and nephews; | 18 | | therefore, be it
