| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Richard Raymond Sauve, who passed away on | 4 | | August 20, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Richard Sauve was born in Waukegan on April 28, | 6 | | 1945 to Raymond and Helen (nee Schueneman) Sauve; he attended | 7 | | Holy Family Grade School in North Chicago and graduated from | 8 | | North Chicago Community High School in 1963; he married | 9 | | Margaret O'Brien; they lived in North Chicago for many years, | 10 | | later moving to Waukegan, and finally settling in Winthrop | 11 | | Harbor; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Richard Sauve enjoyed the hobby of raising fish, | 13 | | and what started with a couple of discus turned into a | 14 | | business, with his basement containing approximately 60 fish | 15 | | tanks and thousands of Angel Fish that were eventually sold to | 16 | | pet shops in Illinois and Wisconsin; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Richard Sauve enjoyed volunteering at St. Therese | 18 | | Hospital, Vista East Medical Center, Aurora Medical Center, and | 19 | | Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services in Kenosha; he was also | 20 | | a member of St. Anastasia Church in Waukegan; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Richard Sauve was preceded in death by his |

| 1 | | parents, and his daughter, Carol Ann Cantrell in 2004; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Richard Sauve is survived by his wife of 51 years, | 3 | | Margaret; his daughter, Barbie; his 3 grandchildren, Rebecca | 4 | | Cantrell (Mandy Ward), Thomas Cory Cantrell, and Jeremy Freeman | 5 | | (Riane Nourigat); his 2 sisters, Caron Kennedy-Perry and Rita | 6 | | (Dennis) Hollingsworth; his brother, Robert (Leslie) Sauve; | 7 | | his sister-in-law, Joyce Denney-Meyers; his brother-in-law, | 8 | | Lou (Teresa) Bunk; his 2 aunts, Sr. Margot Schueneman and Betty | 9 | | (Ray) Beyer; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and | 10 | | great-nephews, cousins; and his faithful cat, China; | 11 | | therefore, be it
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 14 | | Richard Raymond Sauve, and extend our sincere condolences to | 15 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 16 | | further
