| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Eugene A. Rosio of Harvard, who passed | 4 | | away on February 23, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio was born on April 15, 1933 in | 6 | | Rhinelander, Wisconsin to Raymond and Catherine (nee Rolain) | 7 | | Rosio; he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and | 8 | | served in the United States Army during the Korean War; he | 9 | | married Ruth Patton in September of 1956; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio taught at McHenry High School for 35 | 11 | | years in science, agriculture, welding, power mechanics, and | 12 | | auto mechanics, and was a Future Farmers of America Advisor; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio served as a volunteer fireman with | 15 | | the Alden-Hebron-Greenwood Fire Department; he enjoyed | 16 | | fishing, camping, automotive repair, and was a part-time | 17 | | inventor; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio was preceded in death by his parents; | 19 | | his wife; and his brother, Roland Rosio; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Eugene Rosio is survived by his children, Gina |
