| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Edward T. Winn of Richmond, who passed | 4 | | away on March 2, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edward Winn was born Janesville, Wisconsin on May | 6 | | 15, 1927 to Benjamin and Hazel (nee Turner) Winn; he graduated | 7 | | from Richmond-Burton High School in 1945 and married Erma Kobs | 8 | | on June 18, 1950 in Algonquin; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Edward Winn was a life-time farmer in the Richmond | 10 | | area and also worked as a heavy equipment operator for Thelen's | 11 | | Sand and Gravel for 29 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Edward Winn was a member of the Community Church | 13 | | of Richmond, the Pure Milk Association, Spring Grove Softball, | 14 | | the Spring Grove School Board, the State Line Motorcycle | 15 | | Riders, the Woodshed Whirlers Square Dancers, Community | 16 | | Clover, and he was a Gophers 4-H leader; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Edward Winn was preceded in death by his parents; | 18 | | his second mom, Emily Winn; his grandson, Aaron Bychowski; and | 19 | | by his brother-in-law, Lyle LaPoint; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Edward Winn is survived by his wife, Erma; his |

| 1 | | daughters, Barbara (Robert) Howe, Marjorie (Michael) Jones, | 2 | | Denise (James) Bower, and Susan (Jeffrey) Bychowski; his sons, | 3 | | Keith (Debra) Winn and David Winn; his 12 grandchildren; his 14 | 4 | | great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Edith LaPoint and Diana | 5 | | (Raymond) Bauer; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Edward T. Winn, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
