| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ruthann "Ruthie" Montgomery (Rundle) | 4 | | Wellhausen of St. Charles, who passed away on October 14, 2017; | 5 | | and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen was born in Boston, | 7 | | Massachusetts to Stephen Schwark and Elaine Rundle-Schwark on | 8 | | July 10, 1976; she graduated from Springfield High School and | 9 | | Eastern Illinois University, where she studied Speech | 10 | | Communication and served in the student government; she married | 11 | | Sean Wellhausen in Springfield on June 12, 1998; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen was most recently Vice | 13 | | President of Sales for the Loan Repayment Assistant Program | 14 | | Association; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen spent her life loving people and | 16 | | building relationships; from the time of her diagnosis, she | 17 | | decided to craft a bucket list and make meaningful memories | 18 | | with trips to New York City, Hawaii, Colorado, and a spiritual | 19 | | pilgrimage to Medjugorje; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Ruthie Wellhausen is survived by her husband, | 21 | | Sean; her children, Gail Renner, Alair Wellhausen, and Mason |

| 1 | | Wellhausen; her parents; her sister, Wanda Rundle; her nephew, | 2 | | Alexander Salazar; and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins; | 3 | | therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 5 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 6 | | Ruthann "Ruthie" Montgomery (Rundle) Wellhausen and extend our | 7 | | sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew | 8 | | and loved her; and be it further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Ruthie Wellhausen as an expression | 11 | | of our deepest sympathy.
