| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Kenneth "Kenny" Schipper of Cordova, who | 4 | | passed away on February 15, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Schipper was born in Albany to George and | 6 | | Jennie (Bielema) Schipper on December 26, 1939; he attended | 7 | | Albany Grade School and graduated from Fulton High School in | 8 | | 1957; he first married Donna Juist in Fulton; he later married | 9 | | Eileen Yarbrough in Fulton on September 2, 1989; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Schipper farmed his entire life in the | 11 | | Cordova, Erie, Fulton, Hooppole, and Albany areas; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Schipper collected Allis Chalmers tractors | 13 | | and had 37 in his collection; he enjoyed attending auctions, | 14 | | especially farm auctions; he and his wife enjoyed traveling, | 15 | | and they made a yearly trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming to watch the | 16 | | rodeo at Cheyenne Frontier Days; he was a member of the Fulton | 17 | | Saddle Club and enjoyed going out to lunch every Tuesday with | 18 | | his friends; he was a kind, gentle person and made friends | 19 | | wherever he went; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Schipper was preceded in death by his | 21 | | parents; his son, Jim Schipper; and his brothers, Vernon and |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Kenny Schipper is survived by his wife, Eileen; | 3 | | his daughter, State Senator Sue (Keith) Rezin; his stepsons, | 4 | | Jamey and Jason Vermeire; seven grandchildren; six | 5 | | step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; therefore, | 6 | | be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Kenneth "Kenny" Schipper and extend our sincere condolences to | 10 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 11 | | further
