| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply | 3 | | saddened to learn of the death of Martha Carolyn Lynn Warfield; | 4 | | and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Martha Warfield was 1 of 11 children born to | 6 | | William Ross and Estella Lynn in Saint Louis, Missouri; she | 7 | | attended public schools in Saint Louis and graduated from | 8 | | Sumner High School in 1946; she married Earl Williams, Sr. and | 9 | | attended Tucker Business School and worked at Barnes Hospital | 10 | | in the surgical department; she worked for the Comprehensive | 11 | | Mental Health Center in East Saint Louis for 18 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Martha Warfield married James E. Warfield, Sr. on | 13 | | September 23, 1966; she attended Trinity United Methodist | 14 | | Church and was a charter member of the East Saint Louis Lioness | 15 | | Club; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Martha Warfield is survived by her sister, | 17 | | Marcena; her husband, James Sr.; her children, Earl Jr., | 18 | | Carolyn, Sandra, James Jr. (Wyvonia), and Diane; her 6 | 19 | | grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, | 20 | | nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
