| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Robert E. Finger of Harvard, who passed | 4 | | away on August 27, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Finger was born in Melrose Park on | 6 | | September 20, 1942 to Frank and Florence Werner Finger; he | 7 | | served in the United States Army Reserve during the Vietnam | 8 | | War; he married Shirley Tolbert in Mt. Prospect on July 15, | 9 | | 1972; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a 40-year employee of Fastex, | 11 | | where he worked as an injection moulder; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Robert Finger was a member of the McHenry County | 13 | | Farm Bureau and enjoyed utilizing his tractor around his farm; | 14 | | he was an expert at making unique things out of wood; he was a | 15 | | devoted family man with a special place in his heart for his | 16 | | grandchildren; he donated to various causes, including the | 17 | | American Cancer Society and veterans organizations; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Robert Finger was preceded in death by his son, | 19 | | Jeffrey; his daughter, Wendy; and his son-in-law, Chuck Novak; | 20 | | and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Robert Finger is survived by his wife, Shirley; | 2 | | his son, Cliff; his daughter, Peggy Noble; his brother, Roger | 3 | | (Sue) Finger; his sister, Judy Pavwoski; his 4 grandchildren; | 4 | | his 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Robert E. Finger, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Robert Finger as an expression of | 13 | | our deepest sympathy.
