| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lloyd "Red" Reinhardt, who passed away on | 4 | | March 25, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lloyd Reinhardt was born in Davenport, Iowa on | 6 | | October 2, 1930 to Carl and Alma (nee Leliefeld) Reinhardt; he | 7 | | attended Holy Family School in North Chicago, Waukegan High | 8 | | School, and served in the United States Marine Corp as a | 9 | | Corporal during the Korean War; he married Joan Lamb at the Old | 10 | | Waukegan Airport on September 7, 1957; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Lloyd Reinhardt had a passion for flying and | 12 | | obtained his private pilot license in 1946; he refurbished | 13 | | several planes and eventually built his own dream plane the | 14 | | "Christian Eagle"; he also enjoyed woodworking and built an | 15 | | Austin Healy Kit Car; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Lloyd Reinhardt was in the Operating Engineer | 17 | | Union Local 150 for 50 years and a long-time member of the | 18 | | Experimental Aircraft Association; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Lloyd Reinhardt was preceded in death by his wife | 20 | | of 54 years, Joan; son, Kevin Reinhardt; his parents; and | 21 | | brothers, John Reinhardt and William Reinhardt; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Lloyd Reinhardt is survived by his sons, Kurt | 2 | | (Tammy) Reinhardt and Neil Reinhardt; grandchildren, Shelby | 3 | | and Tazz; brothers, Glen Reinhardt, Charles (Jeanette) | 4 | | Reinhardt, and Joseph Reinhardt; sisters, Vada Welch and Wynell | 5 | | Butzine; sister-in-law, Claire Reinhardt; and many nieces and | 6 | | nephews; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Lloyd "Red" Reinhardt, and extend our sincere condolences to | 10 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 11 | | further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Lloyd Reinhardt as an expression of | 14 | | our deepest sympathy.
