| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
James W. Goodall, who passed away on | 4 | | October 30, 2010; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, James Goodall was born in Odin on April 26, 1936; | 6 | | he was the son of Marjorie Bundy Goodall and the late Wallace | 7 | | Goodall; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, James Goodall attended Western Kentucky | 9 | | University on a basketball scholarship and graduated from | 10 | | Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; he subsequently | 11 | | taught and coached varsity basketball at Coulterville High | 12 | | School for 2 years; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, James Goodall served as Vice President of Foam | 14 | | Fabricators until his retirement in 2003 after 35 years of | 15 | | service; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, James Goodall was a member of the Asbury United | 17 | | Methodist Church; he was also a member of the Board of | 18 | | Directors of the Kahwka Club and the Society of Plastics | 19 | | Engineers; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, James Goodall is survived by his wife of 51 years, |

| 1 | | Maggi Goodall; his daughters, Suzi Norris and her husband, | 2 | | Jeff, and Carolyn Sabolcik and her husband, Mark; his | 3 | | grandchildren, Jennifer and Rachel Norris and Matthew, | 4 | | Michael, and Katie Sabolcik; his mother, Marjorie Goodall; his | 5 | | brother, Ron "Burr" Goodall and his wife, Lou; his sister, | 6 | | Joyce Risinger and her husband, Illinois State Senator Dale | 7 | | Risinger; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 | | his family and friends, the passing of James W. Goodall; and be | 11 | | it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of James Goodall as an expression of | 14 | | our sympathy.
