| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Marianne U. (nee Bogolin) Kozlik of | 4 | | Bolingbrook, who passed away on March 16, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Marianne Kozlik held numerous positions with | 6 | | various organizations, including Executive Director of the | 7 | | Community Service Council of Northern Will County, Will County | 8 | | Board Member, Will County Grant Coordinator, worked with Gang | 9 | | Intervention for Will County, and was a founding member of the | 10 | | Bolingbrook Housing Association, founder and Chief of the | 11 | | Bolingbrook Code Enforcement Department, founding Director of | 12 | | the Will County Center for Community Concerns, staff member for | 13 | | the Girl Scouts of America, and a former President of the | 14 | | Bolingbrook Professional Women's Organization; she managed | 15 | | local campaigns for Mayor Bailey and Mayor Claar, managed | 16 | | Republican campaigns for Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Jim Edgar, | 17 | | and Chuck Percy, and was a campaign staffer for Chuck Percy, | 18 | | Lynn Martin, and Jack Davis; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Marianne Kozlik was the beloved wife of the late | 20 | | Edward; the loving mother of Laurae (Chris Dryjanski) and Eric | 21 | | (Kristin); the dear grandmother of Nicholas, Jack, and Kassidy; | 22 | | the dear sister-in-law of Frank Kozlik; and the dear niece of | 23 | | Jen Kovacic and Joan Steinman; therefore, be it

| 1 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 2 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 3 | | Marianne U. Kozlik, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 4 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 5 | | further
| 6 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 7 | | presented to the family of Marianne Kozlik as an expression of | 8 | | our deepest sympathy.
