| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Carl G. Schneekloth of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on November 13, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was born in Luverne, Minnesota to | 6 | | Henry and Mildred (Alsman) Schneekloth on January 11, 1930; he | 7 | | served in the U.S. Army National Guard for three years; he | 8 | | married Audrey Hicks with whom he had two children; he later | 9 | | married Linda Martin in Silvis on July 2, 1964; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth worked as tool and die maker at | 11 | | John Deere; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was a member of the Cornerstone | 13 | | Christian Church in Moline; he was an avid sports fan, | 14 | | specifically of the Moline Maroons and Chicago Cubs; he never | 15 | | met a stranger and he loved to talk to anyone and had many | 16 | | friends; he was also proud to be an active member of the Camden | 17 | | Serenity Group of AA; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents; his daughter, Susan Schneekloth; his sister, Joan | 20 | | Canfield; his brother, Dennis Schneekloth; and his aunt and | 21 | | uncle, Anne and Ray Sayer; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Carl Schneekloth is survived by his wife, Linda; | 2 | | his children, Steven Schneekloth, Tammy (Chris) Cox, and Gina | 3 | | Rouse; his grandchildren, Renee Schneekloth, Ashley Hayes, | 4 | | Jacob Schneekloth, Emma Schneekloth, Mallory Bowling, Hayley | 5 | | Bowling, and Savanah Rouse; four great-grandchildren, | 6 | | including Madelynn Rose Hayes; his sister, Mary Sandler; and | 7 | | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Carl G. Schneekloth, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 12 | | further
