| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Barbara A. Bellman of Crystal Lake, who | 4 | | passed away on November 4, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Barb Bellman was born in Chicago to Donald and | 6 | | Eleanor (Pipcius) Erbes on January 21, 1953; she earned a | 7 | | Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois | 8 | | University; she married William Bellman in Kankakee on April | 9 | | 12, 1975; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Barb Bellman spent the first years of her career | 11 | | as a surgical nurse, then as an at-home mother; she finished | 12 | | her professional career as a substitute teacher in the Crystal | 13 | | Lake District 47 schools and retired in 2011; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Barb Bellman and her husband had a passion for | 15 | | traveling, and she enjoyed her annual trips to Mackinac Island; | 16 | | she was talented and excelled at arts and crafts, including | 17 | | ceramics, painting, and cross stitching; she delighted in | 18 | | personalizing her cross stitching as gifts for others for | 19 | | birthdays and holidays; she enjoyed playing bingo, bike riding, | 20 | | bowling, shopping, and watching HGTV; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Barb Bellman was preceded in death by her father; |

| 1 | | and her mother-in-law, Betty Bellman; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Barb Bellman is survived by her loving husband, | 3 | | William; her son Brian Bellman; her daughter, Breanna (Jason) | 4 | | Pogorzelski; her grandchildren, Nicole, Lauren, and Nolan | 5 | | Pogorzelski; her mother; her brother, David Erbes, her sister, | 6 | | Karen (Jim) Wagner; her father-in-law, William Bellman; her | 7 | | sister-in-law, Becky Bellman; her brother-in-law, Russell | 8 | | (Kari) Bellman; and her many friends and relatives; therefore, | 9 | | be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Barbara A. Bellman and extend our sincere condolences to her | 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 14 | | further
