| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of George Robert Kwapniewski of McHenry, who | 4 | | passed away on October 4, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski was born on March 11, 1952 in | 6 | | Chicago; his parents were Richard and Lillian (nee Glegf) | 7 | | Kwapniewski; he married Janet K. Parsons on May 28, 1972 at St. | 8 | | Stephen's Catholic Church in Des Plaines; he was a resident of | 9 | | McHenry for the past 30 years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski served as a member of the | 11 | | United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski was employed in the auto body | 13 | | field for 20 years and worked at the Foley and Patrick auto | 14 | | dealerships; he later became a truck driver and worked for | 15 | | Arrow Trucking and TC Trucking; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski enjoyed riding his Harley | 17 | | Davidson, fishing in Minnesota, and camping; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents and his sister, Barbara Larucci; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, George Kwapniewski is survived by his wife of 43 | 2 | | years, Janet; his children, Chad Kwapniewski, Dana (Brad) | 3 | | Schwarz, and Aaron (Jen) Kwapniewski; his grandchildren, | 4 | | Hailey, Bradley, Jr., Olivia, Lilly, Emily, and Aaron; his | 5 | | sister, Kris (Harry) Peters; and his brother, John (Jeannie) | 6 | | Kwapniewski; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 9 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of George Robert | 10 | | Kwapniewski; and be it further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of George Kwapniewski as an expression | 13 | | of our sympathy.
