| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Cheryl Ann Gould of Woodstock, who passed | 4 | | away on November 27, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Cheryl Gould was born to Jack and Ernestine | 6 | | Holloway on June 7, 1946; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Cheryl Gould worked alongside her husband for | 8 | | nearly 50 years at Lloyd's Paint; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Cheryl Gould and her husband retired on the same | 10 | | day and enjoyed caring for their home and restoring a barn, | 11 | | Hickory Hill; she also enjoyed quilting, traveling to Lake | 12 | | Geneva, New Orleans, Florida, and as far as the Tahitian | 13 | | Islands; she was affectionately known as "Bombi" and was | 14 | | revered for her Sunday dinners and the ability to solve any | 15 | | problem whether it was hemming pants or just lending an ear; | 16 | | and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Cheryl Gould was preceded in death by her parents | 18 | | and her sister, Tina Longnecker; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Cheryl Gould is survived by her husband of 51 | 20 | | years, Dan; her daughters, Tamara Gould-Buss, Laura (Matt) |

| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Cheryl Ann Gould, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 10 | | further
