| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Michael J. "Mike" Sullivan of Moline, | 4 | | who passed away on September 19, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mike Sullivan was born in Multnomah County, | 6 | | Oregon to Alice "Arlyne" Lear on January 3, 1945; he served in | 7 | | the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and married Teresa | 8 | | Meegan in East Moline on February 28, 2009; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Mike Sullivan retired from the John Deere Foundry | 10 | | in East Moline on March 1, 1994 and later retired from the | 11 | | Moline Housing Authority in 2010; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mike Sullivan enjoyed gambling, golfing, art, and | 13 | | Corvettes; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mike Sullivan was preceded in death by his | 15 | | sisters, Marilyn Wolf and Marlene Pierce; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mike Sullivan is survived by his wife, Teresa; | 17 | | his children, Tara (Bob) DeBlaey and Shawn (Laura) Sullivan; | 18 | | his grandchildren, Sara (Mike) Serbanoiu, Ian Sullivan, Cole | 19 | | (Hanah) DeBlaey, Caitlin DeBlaey, and Carson DeBlaey; his | 20 | | great-grandson, Knox DeBlaey; his father-in-law and |
